YEE WONG YAM Independent Business Consultant

Born in China, now an American citizen, Mr. Yam is an independent consultant with Hutchinson Group assisting U.S. businesses with their China operations. His extensive knowledge of the Chinese business culture is invaluable to Hutchinson Group clients expanding their operations into China.

For several years, Mr. Yam has successfully represented U.S. businesses in China. He has also been instrumental in bringing Chinese students into the United States for educational opportunities. He is a recognized leader in building U.S.-China business and educational partnerships.

The Winchester, Virginia Chamber of Commerce chose Mr. Yam Business Person of the Year. He served on the Advisory Board of Marathon Bank in Winchester, Virginia, and member of the Board of Directors of the Restaurant Association of Virginia. He formerly served as a consultant for Alcoa in North East China region. Mr. Yam is an associate in Jepsen and Associates, a business group headed by former U.S. Senator Roger Jepsen.
